Denim + Diamonds. Yes, please!

The dress code for Khloe Kardashian’s 40th birthday extravaganza last weekend was denim and diamonds, and we are totally digging the resurrection of this playful style. 

For her Dollywood-themed party, the birthday girl wore a jewel-embellished corset top with distressed jeans, diamond garters, a large cowboy hat, and more than 200 carats of diamonds, including multiple layers of chic necklaces.

The other Kardashian sisters also embraced the concept, with Kim in an oversized diamond cross necklace and a two-piece denim outfit.

The recent resurgence of the denim and diamonds trend has seen the likes of Oscar winner Anne Hathaway wearing a design from Ralph Lauren’s spring 2024 collection and dramatic diamond necklace when she hosted the CFDA Awards late last year, and of course the one-and-only Ms. Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé as of late. 

But let’s not forget that it was the iconic denim gown and diamond choker that Britney Spears rocked at the 2000 AMAs that really put this trend on the map. In Britney We Trust!
