The Biggest Jewelry Trends from the 82nd Golden Globes

Red carpet season officially kicked-off last night in Los Angeles with the 82nd Golden Globes. After years of quiet luxury and modest dressing, Hollywood is back in a big way, especially with the jewelry. Ritani’s COO Ria Papasifakis breaks down the major jewelry trends below that can transition into every day looks. 

Diamond Link Bangle Bracelet​

“The clear accessory trend of the evening was opera length gloves paired with cocktail rings or simple cuff bracelets, worn by at least half a dozen actresses from our unofficial count,” shares Papasifakis. “I think it’s safe to say that the return of lady like elegance is back, with sophisticated and regal jewels on display.”

Another fashion trend was sweetheart necklines accented by simple diamond chokers. We saw this look on lots of young Hollywood luminaries, sometimes with a gemstone center stone. “Although these high jewelry looks may seem out of reach, there are definitely ways to translate this style for everyday wear like with affordable lab-grown diamonds,” comments Papasifakis.

Finally, statement rings in a bevy of shapes and sizes make us excited to dress up again. “It’s less about the stack, and more about a singular, oversized ring – diamond or gemstone or a mixture of both – that will be huge in 2025,” says Papasifakis.
