Winnie Harlow is Making Three-Stone Engagement Rings Cool Again

Super model Winnie Harlow and NBA star Kyle Kuzma recently announced their engagement with a stunning three-stone diamond engagement ring. In an exclusive interview with VOGUE, the couple shared that Kuzma proposed with an 8.5-carat oval-cut diamond flanked by two stones that he spent three months designing.

Three stone rings became popular in the modern 20th century, known to represent your past, present and future. When the style originally emerged, designs mostly focused on one diamond shape. For example, a large round stone accompanied by two smaller round side stones. However, contemporary couples are having more fun and mixing shapes in unexpected combinations. Kuzma chose for Harlow a large oval center stone with two pear stones on either side (similar to the one below).
